Random Shiz From The Week

Hi, how ya’ll doin’! I am pretty bizz-zay at work this week, I am busier that a cat covering up shit, busier that a one legged man in an ass kickin’ contest, busier than whore in New York during Fleet week. I was put in charge of 2 projects this week so things have been pretty hectic. One of the projects has to be done in 3d so it’s going to be a challenge, but that’s what I like about this job.

Enough talk about work.

Last night the satellite went out, AGAIN!!!! It was doing the same thing it was doing back in this post. So I THOUGHT I knew what the problem was, so after work I came home change my clothes, crawled under the house, removed the suspected part, crawled out went to Radio Shack and bought a new one. Came home and installed the new part. Went back inside and ran thought the set up. Nothing, zip, nada, bubcus. So now I am on hold with the satellite dudes.

Now that I am thinking about it, it was pretty windy yestrday, so I bet the dish moved, and will have to be adjusted. Which I can’t do myself because a) I don’t have a compass or b) the tool or instrument that would tell me what elevation the dish is pointing.

So now I have a service call for Monday set up between 8a-noon. I bet I can fix this myself on Saturday. Does anyone want to bet against me?

But in the mean time I have at least have 4 hours of 80’s rock I can jam too the I recorded from VHI Classic. (Yea, you know it rocks. You know you to come over get drunk and rock out with me, don’t you? But you can’t ‘cause you don’t know where I live. But if you do call first, I hate the pop in ‘cause it RUUUDE!) Plus I have Casio Royal (the latest James Bond), The Good Shepard, and a documentary about the Marine Corps I have had on the Tivo since February. I also have a shit load of Lost episodes. So I am set for T.V. watching.

I was driving, down Ward Parkway, to work today and saw a sign for this race. Maybe I will do the 10K as a revenge for that crappy time on the last 10K. I shall investigate further this weekend. The deciding factors are a) free t-shirt, b) flat course, and c) if anyone wants to run or walk the 5K with me. If I don’t get 2 of those 3 then I’m OUT!
