It's Come to This?

It should come as no surprise to anyone that reads this blog on a regular basis that I treat this thing as my own personal on-line singles add. If it does come as a surprise then you haven't been paying attention. I put myself out there and you get what you get and what you get is 100% Darren a.k.a. The D

So imagine my surprise when I get this in my myspace inbox today.

This might sound a bit odd, but First of all, let me point out that I am not a Spammer!!! I am a real live person! My name is (whateva) and I work for bla bla bla in Overland Park KS. I am writing you to ask if you are A) single and B) interested in possibly coming in to meet with the owner of our company? I am the Membership Services Director, and right now we are in need of men in your age range as we have far more women than men at this time. We would be willing to offer you a considerable discount on the service if you think this is something you could be interested in.
If you ARENT interested, then that's no problem.
If you ARE, I would just like to invite you in for an interview that will take about an hour or so of your time, in which you can take a look at ALL of our female members to see if you might have an interest and to meet directly with the owner of the company.
Our fees are usually about 50-70 dollars a month, but I think I can get the owner down to something like 15-30 dollars a month.

Am I right to be just a little bit pissed off at this? Because I'm single some stranger thinks I am that desperate enough to try online dating. I will die the scary old man of the neighborhood before I try on-line dating. Rude ass fuckers!

If on-line dating has worked for you then good for you. But it's not for me.
