Blog Stuff, HELP!!

I made some minute changes to the text sizes last night. I'm going to keep making changes through the weekend specifically to the mast head (that's that thing at the top where it says "The D RULES!" and "You can't spell awesome with out me". I want to put some kind of image behind the title and that sentence. but I have no idea what kind of image. Its going to take a lot of searching.

Last night I registered for the Helen Gold 5K on September 8th. I'm also going to do the Chance for Children 5K this Saturday. You can walk both of them if ya want to, both raise money for good causes. C' mon a 5K is only 3.1 miles you can do that right?

I'm also on my corporate team for the Komen Race for the Cure 5K on August 12th.


I also registered for the Kansas City Half Marathon. Which I'm REALLY EXCITED to be running in, I wish it was tomorrow. Now here is were you come in. You see they offer these tee shirts that have your race number preprinted on them which makes for a kick-ass souvenir. But you can also have a short saying or phrase printed on it. So I'm having trouble deciding what to have printed on my shirt.

Here are my options:
1. THE D RULES! YOU DROOL!! (I think that might be a little over the top.)

2. This blogs web address "www.the-d-rules.blogspot.com" (But not everyone I know knows about this blog so like this one the least.)

3. Something along the lines of the Master Card priceless commercials like "Losing ??? lbs in 13 months. Training to Run 13.1 miles. Passing your slow fat ass PRICELESS" (I'm not quite sure on how to word it. Plus the more letters that are put on the shirt smaller the text font will be.)

4. What do you suggest?

It needs to be a funny saying and also has to be in your face sort of. Y know what I mean?


Here is the web site for the t-shirt. They have some examples of how you can customize the shirts. I going to get a large muscle shirt and a x-large t-shirt just so I know that the x-large will fit. Also I will still have a pretty good farmers tan going by October.

Let me know what your suggestions for the t-shirt are in the comments pols close Friday at noon. I want to get my order in as soon as I can so I can post picks before the race. Plus check out the poll on the top left.
