Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend not a whole lot went down. I'm getting a late start on this post so we'll see how far I get before I pass out.


Friday, I stayed in and watched The Messengers . This is a horror movie about a haunted house but not haunted like the house in The Amityille Horror. It was also titled The messanges which would lead you (or at least me) to believe that the people had some kind of message for the new inhabitants of the house. Well they didn't and they blew at scaring everyone but the young hot teenage daughter. So this movie sucked on all levels. It was not scary, the teenage daughter did not hook up with the teenage stud from the locale high school. The hot mom (MILF) didn't even take a shower though the whole hour and a half. But the Dad and the farm hand did get attacked but a murder of crows (didn't see that one coming did ya? Bet you thought I didn't know that a group of crows was called a murder. Unless they are musicians then they are called The Black Crows (ba-dump)). Anyway, just skip the movie and save yourself the 4 bucks and spend it on a box of wine of something.


Saturday, was the big day to get the High Def installation. I'm going to write a whole post about it Wednesday night I have some stuff to say. But, it's up and running and simply gorgeous. I spent the rest of the day watching the new High Def. I don't know how I lived without it.


Sunday, I meet the lovely Shea from A California Girl in Kansas. Classy gal right there, you should all be kicking yourselves for not coming down and meeting her. Contrary to popular belief DOC(!) It was the first time we had met. But when two awesome people meet we just know it. It was just the three of us Shea, The D, and Doc, at Fred P. Otts on the Plaza. From her latest post it sounds like she had a good time here in our fair city.


Tomorrow (Tuesday) I'll be heading down to the latest Bloggers EXTRAVAGANZA (!) at Charlie Hoopers. I should get there about 5:30 or so. So someone have a cold Boulevard Wheat waiting for me will ya? Thanks you're all right! I'm looking forward to meeting some more bloggers, and seeing the ones I have already met, then talking about those bloggers that don't show up, because that is what we do at these meetings, after we sacrifice the virgins, of course. Opps, I shouldn't have said that, now X.O. is gonna beat me. (No Homo).
