Concert Shenanigans

Tuesday night I went to the Def Leopard, Styx and Foreigner concert at the Verizon Wireless.

I arrived at Reggies house about 5:30 for some pre-party and dinner. But the first thing I did when I walked into the kitchen was kick the dogs water and food bowls halfway across the room. I didn't do it on purpose but it did make quite mess, of which I felt like an ass for doing it. For dinner we had Pizza, I promptly declared that I was only going to only eat half now and that I was going to save the rest for after the show.

The limo gets to the house about 6:15 we were the last ones to get picked up, everyone else (all girls) were already waisted. I went to high school with all of them except one of the girls.

On the way to the show we stop at a gas station so the woman can use the bathroom. Reggie and I stay in the limo and pound about 3 beers, we were both thinking that we're going to have to either take care of these girls or get drunker then they are. So we decide to get drunker then they are which is why we pounded the beers.

The girls come out of the bathroom laughing there asses off, Reggie and I look at each other and just shrug our shoulders. "what ever" is the look we gave each other. Well, come to find out one of the girls decided to leave her panties in the trash can in the bathroom. I don't know why it was so funny but they were pretty waisted so I can relate. I think it's kinda' weird but whatevsies. When we got to the show and parked we stood around the parking lot drinking beer and talking about some old high school stories.

As we were getting ready to go into the concert one of the girls (the same one that left her panties in the bathroom) stuffed a couple of cans of beers down her pants. (shut up, like you haven't stuffed beers down your pants before a concert).

Once we all make it into the show we parted ways, our seats were not with the rest of the girls. Reggie and I get some beers and stood around shootin' the shit waiting on Scooter and his wife to show up. Foreigner was already on stage playing but we decide not to go to the seats until Scooter and his wife meet up with us. As we are standing there we run into a couple of dudes we went to high school with (yea this does seam like a reunion story doesn't it)?

Just as soon as Scooter arrives so does none other than Bill Self the KU mens Basketball coach. Of course I don't have my camera with me at the time but Reggie will back me up. We said "Sup, Coach!" He said "Hey fellas how are ya?" Then Reggie passed out because he is so in love with him.

We get to our seats and I remember that my cell phone has a camera in it. DAM IT!! I scream I was half tempted to go find Coach Self and make someone take my pic with him. But I didn't. Here is the view from out seats.


Overall the show was pretty good I knew all of the Styx songs and they rocked the house. But they were not even close to the rock force that is Def Leopard.


After the show:


After the show we went to Hooters. I hate Hooters, wait, I should rephrase that, what I mean is that I hate Hooters the restaurant. The women all though hot, are always bitchy, and there food sucks.

After Hooters we dropped everyone off and went back to Reggies house where I woofed down the rest of my pizza and crashed on there couch.

Overall Good Times, yes good times indeed!
